Run social media giveaways that include shirts, hoodies and hats for when people tag your business, great way to get exposure and build a database. 

Today we’re going to give you some fun social media ideas so you can increase your follower base and increase that engagement. Before that, let’s answer this question, why do you even do social media?. You do it to engage with people. You don’t do social media just so you can send out messages that are sales messages. That’s actually never gonna work in your favor. 

The whole idea of social media is that it’s socially generated media. A way for you to engage with your customers one to one. That is the key here. You want to be engaging with your followers on a one on one basis, because then you’re creating brand loyalty. Now that we’ve all learned that and are up to speed on how and why you should be using social media, this is how you can get additional exposure and build a database of people who are interested in your products in social media.

Number one –  You need to do a giveaway.  Hoodies, Custom T shirts, hats, etc when people either A) tag your business in the comments with other peoples tags or B) sign up for an email form for a  newsletter. And then you enter all those people into a giveaway of a T shirt or hoodie. Now the person gets a cool looking T shirt, a hoodie, and who doesn’t like free stuff. But what do you get? Exposure and you successfully built a database that helps you do remarketing to people who are interested in your product.
