If you do anything in Human Resources you realize that employee retention and an employee feeling appreciated run in hand in hand. Employees and team members feel appreciated in many different ways, whether it’s performance raises, bonuses, team events. There are however, new, creative ways to retain employees in 2022.

retain employees

And they are:

  1. Stickers for Kids
  2. Custom Branded Shirts/Jackets/Facemasks
  3. Custom Posters

Let’s be real, an organization that not only acknowledges the human aspect of their employees and but supports them, is setting themselves up well with retaining employees. The stickers that we mentioned are not for the employees, it’s for their children. Similarly, the posters aren’t meant to promote the company, it’s a way to reward the employees and give them something that fits their tastes. Even though, the company’s logo will be on the poster, the poster allows the employees to express their creativity.

How can you implement something like this:

  1. Work with a t-shirt printing company like WDFA. Create a web destination where employees can order, without paying anything, custom materials like stickers, hats, posters etc.
  2. HR works with WDFA to find and royalty free original artwork for this site that fits the corporate brand and message.
  3. Market the site to employees. WDFA will bill the HR department at the end of the month for whatever was ordered and fulfilled. It’s really that simple. We can also put unit limits in as well.

If a company can get their employees a page of custom stickers for their kid(s), isn’t that supportive in the most positive way? Or employees have a custom t-shirts just like their co-workers as form of comradery. The big things like pay and bonuses matter, but so do the little things. The simple things.
