If you’ve listened to our podcast before you understand that we are big fans of something called Direct Consumer Brand. Direct to consumer brands bypass the traditional supply chain model that exists between manufacturer, wholesaler, distributor and retailer. This is where T-Shirt Printing will change the way people buy graphic tees. DTC cuts out  processes and gets the manufacturer to go directly to the consumer. Doing this does multiple things:

Either makes the product cheaper or two gives the brand more profitability to do more value for their customers. Either way creating a  better brand experience for the customer.

The direct to consumer brand industry is fueled by on demand printing and this is made possible by breakthroughs in technology that have definitely made it easier to produce those one, two or three units. In the past you had to print at least 25 units just to get economies of scales to kick in. 

Third And Final

 What’s causing this big change in the way you’re going to buy graphic tees, is that people are starting to buy through small businesses. And what’s a smaller business than a direct to consumer brand that started on Instagram or Etsy or Facebook or Tik Tok.

Now that is not to say big major corporations are not jumping aboard this direct consumer trend because they are. But t-shirt printing will change the way people buy graphic tees, by giving them more choices between products offered by big corporations and small businesses.
